It is my honour and pleasure to welcome you to the second edition of the International Conference on Information Communication Technology and its Application (ICTA 2018) tagged “Digital Economy: Harnessing the Benefits and Tackling the Challenges for Sustainable Development”. ICTA 2018 will focus on core areas of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and its implementation in digital economy towards attaining global sustainable development goal.

ICTA provides a great and veritable forum for researchers and practitioners from diverse fields to explore their innovative ideas in the diverse areas of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) as both a backbone of and medium for societal developments. It is a biennial conference, with the maiden edition held in 2016.

The goal of the conference is to be a premier arena for researchers and practitioners in academia and industry to cross-fertilize innovative ideas, results of their critical researches and sustainable developmental experiences in ICT from different fields. It is a conference initiated and hosted by the School of Information and Communication Technology, Federal University of Technology, Minna, Nigeria.

Authors are invited to submit papers, of length not more than 7 pages, under the different aspects of ICT as they apply to the theme of the Conference. Manuscripts must contain original ideas that have not been previously published or under review in any other conference, workshop or journal.

Submitted papers will undergo a blind review process and plagiarism check. Accepted and presented papers will appear in CEUR Workshop Proceedings indexed by

Submissions are only allowed via the EasyChair platform. Only pdf file formats are accepted for the review process. Please ensure manuscripts are checked for accuracy and correctness before submission, and do not contain author details or information regarding institutional or related affiliations.
